Thursday January 28, 2010

Wake up around 10:30 AM and decide that today I am going to just write until I have to go to work at 5:00. I make a run to Dunkin' Donuts to start my day and order up a large black coffee with an order of hash browns. I have never had Dunkin' Donuts hash browns before, but they were on the $1 menu, so I figured I would give them a shot. Definitely won't be doing it again. They have an insane amount of seasoning on them, thus rendering them salty as a motherfucker. I like salty shit, but not when it takes away from the overall taste of whatever it is you're supposed to be tasting. I eat about four of the nine-piece hash browns and toss the rest.

True to my word, I wind up spending the ENTIRE day working on the screenplay. I actually put a significant dent in the bastard, which makes me feel like I accomplished something today. Unfortunately, just as I'm getting ready for work, I get some wicked bad stomach ache from the coffee, salty hash browns, and the tuna melts I had for lunch earlier. I think it may be the cheese, as sometimes, not often, but sometimes it doesn't sit well. I down a few tums and head off to work.

Work goes by somewhat quickly tonight and I start to work my appetite back up just as we're getting ready to close the store. Before I leave, I cruise over to Chipotle for a steak burrito bowl. I gun it home to meet V and Hart, who are joining me for some more episodes of 24. Justin also shoots me a text saying he's gonna come over in a bit.

I get home and start to wolf down my burrito bowl when Hart and V show up. We throw in the 4th disc of 24 and peep out the first episode. Justin texts me halfway through saying that he's exhausted and doesn't think he's gonna make it out tonight. Hart and V decide to turn it in early as well, and end up cruising after the one episode. I, however, am not in the least bit tired, so I wind up finishing the entire 4th disc.

I cruise to bed just around 2:30 AM, crashing to more Ocean's Thirteen.
